RECENT PROJECTS

Forest Ventures coordinated drills and exercises for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Yankee Rowe Plant and other northeastern nuclear utilities from 1996 -2002. We also coordinated the Transportation Emergency Preparedness Program (TEPP) for the Department of Energy (DOE) Region I, headquartered at Brookhaven National Laboratory. DOE Region 1 encompasses 11 northeastern states and Washington, D.C.

Forest Ventures coordinated Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station’s 2002 Biennial NRC and FEMA graded Exercise and two major TEPP exercises on the east coast, one involving DOE, Montgomery County, MD and the State of Maryland; the other with DOE, the State of New Jersey and Bergen/Passaic Counties, NJ.

Forest Ventures assisted Entergy Nuclear and Westchester and Orange Counties in New York with revising their radiological emergency plans and successfully passing the 2002 NRC/FEMA exercise.

We have recently completed the Radiological Emergency Plan and Procedures for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and have developed plans/procedures for their Evacuee Reception Center and Mass Care Shelters.

Forest Ventures is currently developing the Comprehensive Emergency Response Program, including Emergency Plan/Procedures and Training/Exercises for New York University
